If you are accepted as a Domestic Abuse Champion then we will use the personal data provided by you for the purposes of administering and operating our Domestic Abuse Champions' network (including sending you email updates that are relevant to domestic abuse and to our network). We may share some of this data with local Domestic Abuse and Community Safety coordinators in our affiliated local government areas who assist in operating the network in their areas.
We will share some of this data with other Domestic Abuse Champions in the network so that they can contact you about issues relating to domestic abuse (we therefore recommend that you provide work contact details rather than your home address). This form indicates which items of data will be shared.
We will not share your personal information with any other third parties without your express consent.
Once you notify us that you have ceased to be a Domestic Abuse Champion we will delete your data from our systems promptly.
You can read our full data protection and privacy policy online.
Often when a Champion changes jobs they lose access to their work email and we lose contact with them.
If you choose to give us a personal email address and/or telephone number here we will use them under those circumstances to contact you and to update your details if you want to continue as a Champion. We won't use them for any other purpose.
(It's important that you attend a training session in the local authority area where you will be primarily working, as local information and resources will be presented during the course.)
